Global Industrial Supply is a client for whom I programmed a website in high school in the computer science course. I did this by sitting around the table with them and incorporating their wishes into the site.
READ MOREI attended a computer science course in high school and learned a lot about the programming languages HTML and CSS. I also loved working with these programming languages and have created various websites. I was allowed to choose what I wanted to do for my final project, and I decided to create a site for a real client, Global Industrial Supply.
Global Industrial Supply wanted a website where people could learn more about what they were doing as a company and view the many items they had for sale. They simply gave me a color palette in terms of style, and I was otherwise free to design the layout and visuals of the site. Finally, I had a great time working on the project for half a year (during the classes) and learned a lot from it. The website URL is provided below.
This project has also provided me with some experience in a variety of expertise areas. For example, it helped me develop my programming skills (T&R) and made me understand that this was something I wanted to pursue in the future. Furthermore, the project provided me with some experience in dealing with a client (U&S), which is a really valuable ability for a designer.
